Have you been seeing the ads for the show "Sex in the City"? Is it me or "Sex every night at 11 PM" is a little too much to be advertised on commercial TV, MBTA buses, Billboards, etc? How far is our society willing to go? We went from sex and pornography in music and music videos, to sexual content in sitcoms and tv ads. We need to talk about these issues and realize how they affect us personally. God only wants the best for us and a life of sexual promiscuity, pornography and sexual immorality will only lead us to depression, and low-self esteem. As you go thru difficult times and leave bad habits behind remember that Jesus loves you and only wants to do whatever possible to be with you forever. God bless! Mirlina Hilaire

THIS FRIDAY, SEPT. 30 we will be having another music seminar and we want to encourage all youth and young adults to be there. We are asking that you all bring: ALL THE HIP-HOP CDS THAT YOU OWN. Those of you who attended the first seminar can agree with me when I say that it really changes your perspective on music. What we learned helped us make a definitive decision to get rid of music that originates from the idea that the black man is God and that Jesus is not real. Choir Rehearsals begin: on October 7th, 14th, and 21st. Anyone interested in joining the choir should contact the director before rehearsals begin in October. We want to encourage all the youth and young adults to get involved in the choir as we conclude this year's programming.

Both first and second services. The Children's dept. would like to encourage the church to support the children on their special day. On this special day, plan to do something special for a child in the church, your neighborhood, or your family.

On October 22, 2005 @Brockton VA (I forgot to tell you that the pictures will be taken at the Brockton Veteran Hospital). ALL INDIVIDUALS on the Junior Varsity & Young Ladies teams has to bring an $25 Registration fee. All of the players must Report to take individual picture ID and fill out their Registration Paperwork. It would be great if their parents can escort their child to sign the application.

Last year only two teams participated in the Connecticut League. All because of the paper work and the money. The same thing will happen this year in this league. We will not chase any team around this year.

THIS SUNDAY, OCT. 2 AT 10:00AM. All pathfinders who have completed their work are asked to be at church no later than 9:30am wearing their Class A Uniform. You will be inspected and tested on the material you learned thruout the year. See Dirs. Laford, Dube, Gay if you have any questions.
